We have seen dramatic improvements in productivity and cost
savings by using Universal Minerals' Garnet. It (the Garnet) cuts aggressively
and cleans with little or no dust, providing for better visibility, reduced
consumption of abrasive and reduces cleanup. It is a safe and cost-effective
alternative to conventional abrasives.

This letter was written to inform you how pleased I was with the
MaxxStrip Machine
and Material. The equipment and material performed well under the
extreme conditions that we put on you and your team. An average mil reading
started at 20 and went up to 35 mils on existing structural steel.
The equipment was easy to set up and extremely friendly to
craftsperson's that used it. The 351 Blast Pot and the Blast Media were
successfully used in an area where protection of compressors, pumps and rotating
equipment were a priority. The media was easily removed simply by washing down
with warm water.
I was extremely pleased with your product and foresee utilizing your
material and machine again in the near future.

While on a job in Mississippi, I came across a product in which you may be interested.
It is called MaxxStrip. It is a water soluble, non-silica, pH neutral abrasive. I witnessed this product applied at the Stennis Space Center. It was used with a high pressure water blaster. There was no dust and most importantly, it removed an existing coating. Once the coating was removed it prepared the underlying steel to a white metal condition.
It was fast and efficient. I expect MaxxStrip will give us a good alternative to dry abrasive blasting and far better than water blasting alone.

MaxxStrip and the MaxxClean Induction System is being used with a pressure washer to remove heavily caked carbon on the outside of tube bundles at our North Terrebone Gas Plant. We are very pleased with the performance of MaxxStrip because solvents and hand tooling did not work for us. We are also very pleased with the environmental
aspects of using MaxxStrip.

We have been using MaxxStrip for several years now in our dry blast systems to clean electric stators, motors, valves, stainless and aluminum parts and any other substrates that cannot withstand the aggressiveness of hard abrasives

Pipe Services International - a Precommissioning and Industrial Cleaning Service company based in Trinidad & Tobago in the Caribbean was contacted by one of its customers - PCS Nitrogen Trinidad Limited to develop a cleaning procedure to clean approximately 100,000 stainless steel Pall Rings.
Our customer had previously tried a big-name international service company chemical cleaning with limited success. PSIL itself also had a sample ring lab tested in Canada with a major ISO certified chemical manufacturer. The chemical solution proposed was very expensive and the overall procedure complicated.
PSIL and our customer opted finally for a dry-blast of MaxxStrip because of the fact that it would remove the layer of deposit on the surface of the S.S. Pall Rings without actually causing any of the S.S. itself to be removed or profiled.
The amount of MaxxStrip actually used was very economical and the safety preparations and disposal requirements were not very complicated or elaborate because of the very environment friendly nature of MaxxStrip.
Overall, the customer was able to extend the usage life of his Pall Rings and defer the very high replacement cost till later.

We use the MaxxStrip abrasive and MaxxClean Induction System with our water blasting equipment to clean piping and equipment while our plant is on line. MaxxStrip removes rust and scale from metal so that we can paint over without taking any process streams off production.

Problem: An expensive spa tile was selected for it’s black background
and opalescent look. After a short two years, the tile was “dirty” enough so
that no reflectance could be seen (it just looked like ordinary, dirty black
tiles)! The owners had contacted the pool designer, the pool installer, the tile
man, the pool service company but no one could clean the tiles. The challenge
was given to NUU-TEKK Pool Cleaning with offices in California and Arizona. The
inspection was made, the can-do was given. When work commenced, all the above
groups were present to see the action! Also present was a California contractor
who made the trip just to see this job.
Result: A wonderfully clean, sparkling, reflective tile cleaning job
that “wowed” the group. The owners already asked for a return booking. The tile
man said, “The tile looks awesome! I want to purchase a MaxxClean System." The
California contractor ordered his system already. All in a day’s work for
MaxxClean!
